Tenth Anniversary Of The Perfect Response

                                   2013-2024

Posts to the site have mostly been weekly, with over 525 spread over a decade.  One of the first posts was a lament for media outlets that allow anonymous responses to their content (2013).  That essay has generally aged well, though more recent posts seek a few more insights in what are still short pieces.

The diverse realms of human communication always offer something new to explain or assess.  Some posts are thought experiments.  Others have grown out of my own career as a writer and teacher in the areas of political communication, modern rhetorical theory, and media effects. All provide examples in a thumbnail format that is sometimes like trying to run circles in a closet. But all are fed by the belief that the most unique of all human capacities can usually be put to better use.

Thanks to my academic home, The College of New Jersey, for continuing to support this site.
